How would you describe Hamilton Reserve Bank and its banking capabilities?
Hamilton Reserve Bank is headquartered in Nevis with worldwide offices, the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, who is a founding father of America. HRB is the largest global bank in the Caribbean region operating on a simple, safe business model 24/7: No physical cash, no lending, no risky credit exposure, and pristine regulatory compliance, executing the fastest bank wires for clients, and manging large client investment portfolios. Hamilton Reserve Bank is also crypto-friendly and crypto-enabled, moving on-ramp and off-ramp cryptocurrencies for clients in one hour without limits. HRB has a technology investment commitment of USD 100 million that offers non-stop global banking, including internal transfer payments at any time among bank customers. HRB has the capital, experience, compliance, and a client-focused culture to serve clients from Cyprus and Greece with ease.
What does it mean to be a fast global bank serving clients worldwide?
Having spent much of my career in businesses and politics, I have always believed that talent, efficiency, and ambition are not confined to New York, London or Hong Kong. Hamilton Reserve Bank was built for borderless, frictionless banking, serving the 8.5 billion people on earth that do not have fast and reliable multicurrency banking services. We have deep understanding of the international markets. I see Hamilton Reserve Bank as proof that a large bank like HRB can operate confidently and successfully competing on the global stage as a winner. For example, we offer “Guaranteed same-day bank wires in 126 currencies.” Such rare capability is superior to many large banks around the world. HRB is fast, safe, and private. This is how HRB was built.
Who are your clients and what banking challenges are you solving for them?
Our client base is broad and diverse. We open accounts for governments, entrepreneurs, family offices, businesses, and high-net-worth individuals across borders, cultures and time zones. Our bankers speak 15 languages. For Latin America, we have an affiliate in Panama City, Panama. For Asian clients, we have an office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For Middle East, we have a branch in Dubai. For the American and Canadian markets, we have offices in Saint Kitts & Nevis, agents in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. For the EU, Cyprus and Greece, we have a strategic partnership with SEE Capital, a leading Greece and Cyprus-based investment and advisory firm. HRB is global and our technology enables global banking 24/7. Clients want trust, reliability and access to experienced, no-nonsense bankers who can offer solutions. That is where Hamilton Reserve Bank brings tangible results to them.
Hamilton Reserve Bank is fast, safe and private. What do these words mean in practice?
Clients do not come to us simply to open bank accounts. Clients contact us because they want certainty in getting bank accounts open. They want their wires to be sent immediately; their assets protected and their business handled professionally in total privacy. These are the practical meanings of speed, security and privacy.
What are Hamilton Reserve Bank’s unique capabilities in addressing customer needs?
HRB is a large bank however we move very fast. Our key advantage is the combination of technology, capital, compliance and speed. Many banks just do one or two of these well. We have spent years and made substantial capital investment into building a fully integrated banking platform, allowing HRB to serve clients while meeting all BSA/AML mandates. For example, our bank has no customer complaints, and we have a pristine regulatory history.
Your digital banking platform is powered by the world’s best core banking technology, Temenos. Why was that investment important for Hamilton Reserve Bank?
Modern banking is all about adopting financial technology to execute seamless, frictionless, and intelligent banking services. Investing in Temenos represents a significant long-term commitment, and it provides the scalability, resilience and compliance capabilities required to support a truly global bank. This investment facilitates borderless growth without compromising compliance and client experience. HRB is powered by the latest technology.
For Cypriot or Greek customers, speed, security and privacy are important. How do you balance them?
Nearly a decade ago, Hamilton Reserve Bank became one of the first banks in the world to fully adopt U.S. government-grade facial recognition technology as part of its client onboarding and transaction verification processes. The objective was simple: making banking easier for clients while preventing fraud and financial crime. Today, our identity verification standards are comparable to those used at U.S. and U.K. borders. Our clients have never experienced a single loss resulting from identity theft, where American banks lose about USD 20 billion annually to identity fraud. For us, safeguarding client assets is not just good compliance, it is the foundation of trust and our daily top priority. Our commitment remains the same: providing clients with a banking environment that is secure, fast, private, and user-friendly.
How does Hamilton Reserve Bank approach due diligence, source of funds and ongoing monitoring for clients?
Using real-time transaction monitoring is one of our key compliance solutions. Hamilton Reserve Bank mostly transacts in USD, GBP, CAD, and other major currencies in lightning speed. Our compliance standards are AML/BSA/OFAC compliance, implemented through real-time transaction monitoring. Since HRB has a simple business model of no cash, no lending, and only wire transfers, our client activity monitoring is what we call in the banking world “STP,” or “Straight-through Processing.” Clients love our wire speed (many wires are literally received or sent in seconds) and the certainty of their wire transfers. Our counterparty banks feel safe transacting with us because HRB is very advanced in technology, keeping customer service quality high while maintaining zero incident of BSA/OFAC occurrence. Our compliance program is robust and effective through annual BSA/AML audits. HRB is a paperless bank.
What role can Hamilton Reserve Bank play for Greek or Cypriot families who are thinking about wealth planning and asset protection for themselves and for their clients?
Many of our clients are not simply looking for an efficient bank. They want to know how to structure their affairs for future generations to come. Wealth planning today is not just about investment returns or safekeeping of capital. It is about multi-generational resilience, global mobility, cross-border families, succession planning and asset protection for families to prosper in a complex world. HRB has the large asset size, experience, and global reach to achieve these clients objectively with ease for Greek and Cypriot families.
How can a strong bank like Hamilton Reserve Bank expand in the Greek and Cypriot markets?
HRB is a world-class financial institution. We have made the right investment in technology, compliance and talent. Through our partnership with local partners, such as SEE Capital, headed by seasoned Wall Street banker Taso Carayannis, who is a Greek American, Hamilton Reserve Bank intends to expand in these markets. Our expansion strategy combines strong capital, advanced technology, rigorous compliance and trusted local partnerships. For governments, businesses and individuals, the benefits are enormous: greater efficiency, seamless connectivity and direct access to modern banking that support cross-border commerce and investments around the world.
I believe the future of global banking will be shaped by innovation and collaboration. As a major bank serving a large and rapidly expanding global clientele, Hamilton Reserve Bank is proud to continue to support governments, businesses and investors. A capable banking infrastructure benefits governments, investors and applicants alike. Hamilton Reserve Bank is ready to address such market demand.
